Gift Vouchers:
Here at MRA School of Motoring we understand the cost of learning to drive in today's world isn't cheap, so we've come up with a way which we think can help spread the cost.
We are now offering Gift Vouchers for Lessons, Tests and the Pass Plus scheme. If you wish to order gift certificates for anyone then please use the menus above to navigate to our Prices Page, decide on which of the packages you wish to purchase and then either contact us via the "contact" page (also on the menus above) or call us on: 01494 812960. We hope that you find this system is helpful.
There is no expiry date on the vouchers, so you could buy one voucher a month from your 16th birthday, and then come your 17th birthday have 12 lessons already paid for! Or if you're a Parent, a brilliant birthday or Christmas present idea might be Vouchers for a set of lessons!
Vouchers can be personalised, to display a message of your choice, or can just be left plain if you wish.
When you buy a voucher from us, you do not have to specify a time or date on which you wish to use it! You will be able to decide with your instructor, a time and a date that suits you for the lesson(s) that the voucher covers and it's as simple as that!
Pass Plus Scheme:
Ok! So you've just completed all your lessons and passed your driving test! Congratulations!!! But it doesn't end there!
Getting insurance on your first car can be an absolute nightmare, but there is a valid reason for this, in all of the time that you are driving throughout the duration of your life, you are statistically most likely to have an accident during the first two years.
This statistic is completely non-age related, it fundamentally comes down to a lack of driving experience, and driving awareness. The cost of insurance for young and new drivers can be sky high! There are many insurance companies who now recognise the government run Pass Plus scheme and they offer large discounts to new drivers who have completed the course, a list of these insurers can be found on the pass plus website. www.passplus.org.uk
The pass plus scheme consists of a minimum of 6 hours of driving in a range of conditions, the idea is that you will be a more experienced, and most importantly, a safer, better driver at the end of it. The conditions which you have to drive in are as follows:
· Town Driving
· All-weather driving
· Driving out of town
· Night driving
· Driving on dual carriageways
· Driving on Motorways
More information on the Pass Plus scheme can be found at www.passplus.org.uk
