The theory test consists of 2 parts – a questions part & Hazard Perception. Both have to be passed at the same time. NOTE You can not take your Driving Test until your theory test has been passed.
We give you theory test sheets on each lesson to build up your knowledge base of the highway code.
We can also supply all books, hazard Perception DVD and Practice Partner DVD.
QUESTIONS — The first part of the theory involves 50 multiple choice questions on a touch screen computer – the pass mark is 43 out of 50.
HAZARD PERCEPTION — The Hazard Perception test involves 14 film clips each lasting 30 – 40 seconds in total and there are 15 developing hazards that you will need to identify. The sooner you click on the hazard the higher your score. 5 points is the max score for each hazard – that’s a potential 75 points if you get them all correct. The pass mark is 44 out of 75.
The theory test is easy if you study. Remember – we will give you all the help you need.
